Managing Board
Governed by the Universal Education Foundation, an IRS registered non-profit organization, the Universal Academy of Pittsburgh follows a challenging formal public school curriculum, in addition to the cornerstone of our program: Arabic, Qur'an, and Islamic Studies.
The managing board at Universal Academy of Pittsburgh provides help and support to the principal to achieve the mission of the school.
- Dr. Adel Fergany
- Dr. Adel Fergany is the managing board director.
- Sr. Sarah Jameela Martin
- The UAP is proud to have sr. Sarah as member of the managing board. Sr. Sarah is a former member of the Board of Education of the Pittsburgh Public School. She is currently focusing on the teaching improvement, marketing strategy, and fundrasing.
- Br. Rachmadian "Doni" Wulandana
- Br. Doni is also member of the managing board. Br. Doni is a faculty at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, University of Pittsburgh. He is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of information technology in the school and also building management.
- Dr. Abdulwahab is member of the managing board. He is currently holding a professor position in Medina, Saudi Arabia. He is still actively involved in the management of the school, in particular the fundraising activity.
- The UAP board would like also to thank for the continuous supports from the following individuals who have been very instrumental in the school management.

- Sr. Loretta Riggs
- Sr. Loretta is the former principal of the UAP. Her experience and expertise in school management and expertise are truly assets for the development of the UAP.
- The family of Anna and Mark Dinkel
- The Dinkel's family is a UAP parent. They have been helping the building maintenance of the school.
- Br. Pribadi Kardono
- Br. "Didi" Kardono is the internet consultant for the UAP. He manages the hosting of the UAP web site and also the intranet (network) of the school.
- Br. Nader Shakir
Br. Nader graduated from the Computer Science Department of the Carnegie Mellon University and a former member of MSA. Br. Nader has been helping the UAP as a computer and internet specialist.
